Kids Open Studios

Scrap Fabric Animals

Kids Open Studios is a series of art making workshops for kids (best suited for ages 5-12) led by artist and educator Jenny McGee Dougherty.  Each workshop focuses on a specific activity that results in each participant taking home their own hand crafted object, this time we'll be making animals out of scrap fabric.

Learn how to design, tie, sew and stuff your own animal out of recycled materials. Kids will get a chance to design an animal and choose from a variety of scrap fabrics to create a soft toy to take home.

Nobody will be turned away due to lack of funds, if you're interested in your child attending but are concerned about the price please contact adam@space538.org to inquire about a scholarship ticket.
