STOP MAKING SENSE (JONATHAN DEMME TRIBUTE)

Bayside Bowl Rooftop Summer Film Series

Director Jonathan Demme captures the frantic energy and artsy groove of Talking Heads in this concert movie shot at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in 1983. The band cooks for 18 songs, the lyrics are clear, the house rocks. In this concert film, the Talking Heads hardly talk, don’t stop, and always make sense.

Our 2015 screening of Stop Making Sense was one of the most popular films we screened at Bayside Bowls back patio and with director Jonathan Demme's recent passing, we thought it only right to bring back in tribute.

At Bayside Bowl, as part of their Summer Rooftop Film Series.  Free to the public.  Seating is first come, first served.  Film begins at sunset.
