The Cassatt Quartet

The 14th annual midcoast-based Seal Bay Festival of American Chamber Music presents a Portland satellite concert featuring New York City’s Cassatt Quartet playing works by Dan Visconti, Hannah Lash, Chris Rogerson, and the festival’s director, Laura Kaminsky. The featured composers’ cumulative resume includes commissions from contemporary music luminaries such as Kronos Quartet, Silk Road Ensemble, eighth blackbird, and the Chicago Sinfonietta, and performances at Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House, Le Poisson Rouge, Tanglewood, and many international festivals.
