citydrift is a city-wide meta-event composed loosely on Guy Debord’s Situationist concept of the derive or drift. Not quite an event and not quite an exhibition, citydrift/Portland is to be understood as a collective enterprise that brings together various strains of non-traditional art practices, combining installation, discourse, happenings, actions, and performance throughout the city. Participation encouraged!
