Low Anthem with Vio Mire and Family Planning

Providence’s The Low Anthem combines folk and blues arrangements with the elegance of chamber music and the fervor of gospel. Known for their song-writing and revolving multi-instrumentalism, The Low Anthem’s “solemnly beautiful” (Rolling Stone) and “astonishingly innovative” (Paste) music has only continued to gain notice since the trio last-played a sold-out show at SPACE in 2011.  The Low Anthem is joined by fellow Rhode Island musicians vio/miré, kindred spirits in finely wrought chamber folk, and Family Planning, a new idiosyncratic folk project based here in Portland.
