House Show #17: Miss Eaves

INFO
Tuesday, September 29 2020
8:00 PM

NYC-based, NC-bred rapper and artist Miss Eaves joins us for SPACE House Shows, our weekly live stream series on Instagram, every Tuesday night at 8:00 pm EST.

Miss Eaves is the feminist sound storm of Brooklyn based-multimedia artist Shanthony Exum. Her fierce femcee electro-pop-rap-dance-explosions celebrate confident women who aren’t afraid to love themselves and own their sexuality — all with a take-no-shit attitude that pushes back at the patriarchy, haters, and anyone else who tries to keep her down. And the world has taken notice: Miss Eaves has been lauded by The New York Times, NPRBillboard, New York MagazineElleGlamourJezebel, and more, with her viral sensation “Thunder Thighs” landing on lists of feminist anthems alongside legends like Beyonce.

These shows are member-supported and it’s because of our members’ generosity that we’re able to run this concert series and ensure that all performers are paid. We firmly believe in compensating artists fairly and these times are no different.

To further support this program, please donate to @space-gallery on Venmo or at space538.networkforgood.com during each concert. We will split all donations 50/50 between the musicians and Maine-based organizations focused on racial and social justice.

To watch, head to SPACE’s Instagram page, @space538. At 8:00 pm, click on our profile picture to watch the live video performance. You will need to have an Instagram account to view.

💥 Wanna start something new? The Kindling Fund awards project grants ranging from $3,000-$7,000 to Maine-based artists of all career levels — apply by November 24th!
