Generationals with Sunset Hearts

New Orleans-based Generationals (Ted Joyner and Grant Widmer) received notice for their first two albums and EP on Park The Van Records–works that riffed on British invasion sounds, surf and all manner of classic pop, and filtered everything through a contemporary indie rock lens. With the release of their album Heza on Polyvinyl Records this spring, Generationals’ sound is becoming more layered, with minimalist electronics thrown in along clean guitars and irresistible hooks. Portland synth-rock powerhouse Sunset Hearts join in the fun. Co-Presented with State Theatre.
