Pearl and the Beard with Lucius and You Won’t
8:30PM
NYC-based trio Pearl and the Beard is three voices, one cello, one guitar, one glockenspiel, one melodica, several drums, one accordion, ninety-six teeth, and one soul. Blending indie folk, blues and jazz riffs, members Jocelyn Mackenzie,Emily Hope Price, and Jeremy Styles make captivating, bright music that’s soaring and sensual, and they’re known to put on an amazing live show. Singer-songwriters Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig make up Brooklyn’s Lucius, described by the New York Times as “The next Feist” having “luscious, luminous, lilting lullabies” and by Seventeen Magazine as “alluring and magnetic”. You Won’t, composed of Massachusetts natives Josh Arnoudse and Raky Sastri, is swiftly gaining notice for their charming, melodic folk-pop.
