Germination
Rachel Gloria Adams
Window Gallery
That feeling of wanting to start a new habit for a better life. Assembling the knowledge and materials to make it happen. Cultivating that practice and nurturing it into existence with the goal of abundance. Germination is a mural representing oneself and the different facets one wishes to grow. Within the heirloom framework, Germination aims to not only meet viewers where they are, but to also identify areas awaiting growth in order to spark joy. By initiating new practices, with time and care these facets will be lush and will grow far past the structure they originated from.
Rachel Gloria Adams is a visual artist living in Portland, ME. Inspired greatly by her surroundings including the beautiful chaos her two daughters bring, Adams has developed a vibrant, graphic pattern-based visual language filled with references to the natural world.
