Window Gallery
In Geocache, Maine-based and Massachusetts-born artist Jimmy Viera displays all areas of his creative process in an installation including sketchbooks, paintings and drawings, alongside rocks and natural objects the artist collects that become the references for paintings. The artist states: “Usually the viewer only sees the end product of an artist’s efforts. As a painter who spends most of my time drawing, I wanted to use this opportunity to highlight the aspects of my work that usually stay in my studio. In Geocache I aim to display all areas of my creative process at the same time.”
