Gruppo Antudo and El Malo

Gruppo Antudo is an acoustic ensemble presenting folk music from Sicily and Southern Italy. From the danceable tarantella to protest songs and ancient ballads, Gruppo Antudo draws from the rich and varied traditions of Sicily, Calabria, Puglia, and more.

El Malo is a 9-piece instrumental band out of Portland, Maine that plays a wide variety of Latin-influenced jazz mixed with elements of funk, punk, prog, and dance music. Their crowd-moving non-stop shows feature group improvisation from the four-piece horn section with keys, drums, bass, guitar, and percussion. El Malo plays a wide range of original instrumental material as well as choice covers and standards at venues and events all over New England.
