Mira
8:00 PM
MIRA roots itself in the lyrical style of Tennessee Williams, plumbing the psychological depths and rich characters typical of his work. An urgent longing drives a young woman to seek relief from her pressing emptiness for the first time. She finds an unexpected friendship to abate her loneliness in a shared love of poetry. MIRA explores the difficult beauty often found in an uncertain future. This physical performance is spun from a love of the Southern Gothic, and writers such as Lillian Hellman and John Steinbeck.
