Family Event: Kids Open Studios

Kids Open Studios is a series of art making workshops for kids (best suited for ages 5-12) led by artist and educator Jenny McGee Dougherty.  Each workshop focuses on a specific activity that results in each participant taking home their own hand crafted object, this time we’ll be making Confetti Orbs/Disco Balls.

Create a sparkling orb out of cardboard and the shiniest paper you’ve ever seen! Kids will get to design their own shapes and build them out of cardboard, then add shiny paper confetti to create a party-ready piece of art! 

Nobody will be turned away due to lack of funds, if you’re interested in your child attending but are concerned about the price please contact adam@space538.org to inquire about a scholarship ticket.
