Local heroes Mouth Washington celebrate the release of their fourth album, Fourth Floor, releasing on vinyl on Death List 5 Records. The band is equally at home wading through the waters of alt-Americana with giants like Jason Molina and Built to Spill, as they are shredding post-punk guitar riffs over walls of distortion. It’s this dichotomy that makes their sound so immediate and perhaps so uniquely Portland, Maine. A new album is a welcome thing.

Joining Mouth Washington are the ten-ton heavy indie rockers FonFon Ru, feminist post-apocalyptic party band Phallus Uber Alles, and Wesley Hartley’s good-time friends Barbeque.
