Iyabo Boyd

Iyabo Boyd is a producer and filmmaker living in New York City. She has previously held positions at the Sundance Film Festival, Independent Feature Project, and Tribeca Film Institute. She’s screened for the Hamptons, Sarasota, and Nantucket Film Festivals, and served on juries for the IDA Awards, Cinema Eye Honors, SXSW’s Women Director Award, and Brooklyn Film Festival’s Pitching Exchange. Her short film, Forever Ally, follows exchanges between a gay black man, Ronaldo, and his recently deceased cat named Ally. Iyabo's time at SPACE was devoted to developing and practicing the script of her newest film project.
