Jesse Littlefield is a multi-media artist whose work bridges the practices of screenprinting, collage, and abstract painting. His use of highly saturated primary and earthy pigments, strong distinctions between positive and negative space, and geometric shapes poses a fresh take on minimalist abstraction.
Littlefield has held shows at galleries including The Journal Gallery in Brooklyn, Zeiher Smith and Horton in New York, Exhibition A in New York, and has participated in group shows at Harper's Books in East Hampton, Galeri Jacob Bjorn in Denmark, Martos Gallery in New York, Gallery Steinsland Berliner in Stockholm, and the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston.
