I was born in Lewiston, Maine in 1985, where I grew up catching frogs, playing sports and dreaming about what life would be like in the city. Early into my teenage years I discovered skateboarding, bmx, hardcore punk music, and most importantly, graffiti. Skateboard graphics, record covers and graffiti quickly took over my thought process and I recklessly covered my small town in Graffiti. It wasn't long until I was caught and my options were criminal charges, or probation in the form of taking all of the art classes in my high school. I chose art classes and that led me to art school at Mass Art in Boston where I studied printmaking. In the decade since graduation I have lived in Brooklyn, Berlin, Barcelona, Denver, a van, and Portland, ME. Throughout that time I steadfastly continued to make handmade woodcut prints, trying to make it as an artist. In 2018 I moved to Los Angeles, where I live and work as a full time artist.
