Rebecca FitzPatrick
Rebecca FitzPatrick is a visual artist who lives in Maine on Monhegan Island. Rebecca uses her primary medium of cut-paper collage to create images that explore a range of interests including mythology, the language of symbols, and our relationship to the natural world. She also enjoys making photographs and creating site-specific sculptural installations. Rebecca’s work has exhibited at several galleries in Portland and throughout the state of Maine and has been profiled in Maine Home and Design Magazine, the Portland Phoenix, the Portland Press Herald, and Portland Monthly Magazine. She has created site-specific pieces for several venues including the Sacred and Profane Festival on Peaks Island, Maine and at the Ralph Lauren Flagship Store in New York City. Rebecca FitzPatrick holds an undergraduate degree in Painting from the University of Southern Maine.
