sair goetz
sair goetz is a queer time-based artist building instructions for breaking down binaries. Supported by the 2017-2018 Dedalus Foundation fellowship, sair is currently working on performance & video pieces querying silent cinema, non-binary gender identities, and various unwaged labors. sair received their MFA from the Ohio State University, and their BA in Visual and Media Studies, Arts of the Moving Image, and Documentary Studies from Duke University.

goetz will host a participatory event in which visitors will engage in a conversation with the artist and one another using a set of speaking constraints. In addition to outlining aspects of goetz practice, the event seeks to build empathetic relationships.
