Maine’s original cousin-rockers Amiright present Husk of a Body on NYC based Sad Cactus Records— their long-awaited follow-up to 2020’s Lavender House. They’re joined by labelmates Pond 1000, absolute rippers Space Camp, and cowpoke slackers Otis.

amiright? are Portland’s self-proclaimed pioneers of cousin-rock and they are set to release their new album Husk of a Body on Valentine’s Day with NYC based label Sad Cactus.  The record is 9 tracks of songs that are warm, loud, scuzzy, and full of lighthearted family fun.  In 2024, amiright? released the first single of the record Jaundice, “a track that embodies damn-near everything that makes this group worth hearing: a catchy riff and chorus, intriguingly odd lyrics, and peaks of pure rock glory” as put by The Bollard.  The group has since released two more songs, “Four Legs Six Ribbits” and “Sequel to Head Will Explode,” two songs that are fast and explosive with moments of peace.

SPACE CAMP is an experimental project from South Windsor, Connecticut. In its current form, they use two drum kits, piano, synthesizers and trombone. Their songs are about fear, joy, and trans belonging. Their music is influenced by punk, metal, jazz, experimental music and free improvisation.

Pond 1000 is a rock band in Maine. Katie’s songs ushered into reality by Iris, Jesse, Dylan, and Katie.

otis. is Portland’s premiere cow-themed barn-rock-slacker-rock quintet. Born and raised in the woods of Maine, otis. accompanies the intimate songwriting inspired by their rural home with a wall of noise. otis. is here to rock your world.
