The category is… OPULENCE! Aquarius Funkk makes a return to Maine to present the most extravagant event of the season, celebrating Black Pride, Vogue Ballroom, & QTBIPOC artistry. An event for our liberation and resistance.  

A mini ball and dance party featuring performances and music from Aquarius Funkk, Cinnamon Maxxine, Liza May & Rosie Havoc, Disco Dungeon, Jamie O’Sullivan and more TBA!

Co-presented by MaineTransNet, EqualityMaine, Equality Community Center and SPACE.

Serving glamour, grandeur, decked to the nines, 10’s across the board! This is your chance to wear that gown you keep in the back of the closet, the suit that is collecting dust, those rhinestones and furs and one-of-a-kind pieces that you have been waiting to bust out. We’ll have the runway out and the party lights on, and celebrate together on the SPACE dance floor until closing time.

This event will honor local members of the community that have been cornerstones, pioneers, icons and legends in making the Maine nightlife and performance scene.

We want to see your glow and your angles. This category is for those who make an artform out of presenting their face. With makeup or without, deliver your most stunning face with a touch of jewelry or accessories that radiate and reflect your innate beauty.
