Belfast Poetry Festival Preview

Three poetry-performance teams perform in Congress Square Park, as a preview of the Belfast Poetry Festival: Poet Megan Grumbling and composer Denis Nye present the short spoken opera Persephone in the Late Anthropocene, with actors Ian Carlsen, Paul Haley, Tess Van Horn, and Ellen White under the direction of Karen Ball; poet Jefferson Navicky and sound artist Caroline Losneck present a verse-sound collaboration about basketball; and poets Christopher Robley, Rachel Flynn, Jim Thatcher, and Marita O’Neil present a musical-poetic exquisite corpse.
