Cuddle Magic with Butcher Boy and Family Planning

Hot off their opening slot on Lady Lamb the Beekeeper’s sold out release tour, Cuddle Magic returns to SPACE. The Brooklyn chamber-folk sextet performs lush, playful songs with wide-ranging instrumentation, drawing from pop and r&b as well as disparate world musics, jazz and 20th century chamber music. They’ve collaborated with a wide range of artists, such as Beyonce, Anais Mitchell, Amanda Palmer, The David Wax Museum, Rubblebucket, Darius Jones, and Fred Frith. They’ll be joined by Maine purveyors of doom, folk, free-jazz, post-punk, and all things generally avant, Butcher Boy and Family Planning.
