Brenda’s sound incorporates clean and concise elements of 1950’s rock n roll, with esoteric and breezy turns that suggest a wide range of influences from John Fahey to Built to Spill. Endless Jags, featuring members of Brenda, Foam Castles, Haru Bangs, Jaw Gems and Gully, recently released a self-titled EP that’s pure indie rock bliss. Boom Said Thunder, out of Boston, makes minimal fuzzed-out rock that grabs you from the get-go.
