EXHIBITION OPENING: EYES USED FOR TOOTH SUPPORT FIRST FRIDAY ART WALK
5:00
Space Gallery
Crank Sturgeon melds minds with SPACE Gallery for a three week, on-site exploration in sound art, installation and performance. Working solo as well as partnering with longtime collaborators, Pat Corrigan and id m theft able, Crank will be getting dirty, transforming the gallery with interactive electronics and boxes of Sharpie markers, while performing micro-plays on demand.
Come see Crank’s Artwalk Fortified: video projection and live collaboration with id m theft able, HEXBeam, and Greg Kowalski. Tonight also marks the last chance to view the community-driven exhibition for Bike Month: Seek Alt. Routes: Recording Bicycle-Powered Experiences.
Also, parked outside of SPACE will be the Breakwater School’s surreal school bus, a collaboration between the middle school students and artist Tim Clorius.
