The grungy pop band Hotline TNT — the most ’90s band of the 21st century so far — makes their SPACE debut.
Hotline TNT is the most ’90s band of the 21st century so far. It is a grungy pop music group of no certain allegiance or denomination. The band has always been intended for fans of all generations, but many fans are forced to watch the band behind their parents’ back.
Their records have been removed from the most popular streaming service, but remain easy to find, toeing a fragile line between luddite in-person interactions and the very online Discord servers. Many people who come across their early 7″s immediately turn them into weapons, but they have nonetheless pushed forward, unleashing three full length LPs (2021’s Nineteen In Love on Smoking Room, 2023’s Cartwheel and 2025’s Raspberry Moon both courtesy of Third Man Records), a Euro-exclusive EP (When You Find Out), and a handful of cassingles, mixtapes and compilations in the wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
As the second Trump administration dawned on the United States, an as-yet-untitled 4th album has begun pre-production.
New York singer-songwriter Tracey Nelson is a new addition to the K Records imprint Perennial. Nelson has the honor of being associated not only with K impresario Calvin Johnson but MJ Lenderman, who produced and features on the new single “Dolly’s Coat.”
