Lahnah weaves noise and post-rock melody into unpredictably playful collages touching on deep seated inspiration from bands such as King Crimson and Deerhoof as well as the infectious experimental spirit of Bowie. Their sound draws on familiarity while walking their audience to the edge, with their obsessive songcraft and enigmatic character. The increasingly aspirational band is in the throes of their next release, Raunchadelic, due out later this year.

Gaud is a music and arts project from New England that uses sound and storytelling to explore the human social ecosystem. Finding fairytales in the study of change over time, and remaining “joyful even when all the facts have been considered.”

Smokebreak, 2High, 2Way, and Bone Cold Dave Boston are Going 2 Hell — the unholy alliance of members of Mouth Washington, $300, An Anderson, and approximately 20 other local legends. In their short life as a high concept rock outfit, they’ve developed a rabid fanbase of self-proclaimed “meatheads” and started online beefs with nearly every band in a 30-mile radius. They were voted “Portland, Maine’s Most Dangerous Band” by a jury of their peers.

Get Out of My House is the self-described “stadium rock” band of Kenzie, Tzara, and Joe. Their 2023 debut, “GOD ON MY SIDE 4 EVER” arrived with a fully-formed power-trio vision of propulsive riffs, enormous space, and undeniable hooks.
