Om with Watter

Formed from the ashes of doom metal legends, Sleep, Om has continuously reinvented itself for a decade. Drawing from such disparate sources as Byzantine chants and Black Sabbath, they’ve followed their own course out of doom and drome and stood alone in their singular sound and approach. Their most recent record, Advaitic Songs, finds them once again defying categorization, while reaching further into more ornate composition and a world of sheer imagaination. 

Watter is the new group of Slint’s Britt Walford, Grails’ Zak Riles and multi-instrumentalist, Tyler Trotter. Their debut record features guests such as King Crimson’s Tony Levin, Dane Waters and Rachel Grimes.
