Open Bench Project Launch Party

Join the Open Bench Project for a crowdfunding launch party. The Open Bench Project is a makerspace initiative in Portland, ME that strives to help people explore, question, critique, and re/create the built world around them. This shared learn/work facility is designed to support a community of makers by providing access to studio/work space, tools, and resources. The Open Bench will provide an opportunity for makers of all types — amateurs, professionals, hobbyists, youth, entrepreneurs, artists, scientists, engineers — to explore ideas, learn new skills, and collaborate across disciplines. Hosted by Jake Ryan, Founder and Director, this event serves as a public introduction to the project as well as a kick off for their Indiegogo fundraiser campaign.
