Palestine Cinema Days: Naila and the Uprising

Chronicling the remarkable journey of Naila Ayesh and a fierce community of women at the frontlines, whose stories weave through the most vibrant, nonviolent mobilization in Palestinian history – the First Intifada in the late 1980s.

Filmlab Palestine has been unable to hold the annual Palestine Cinema Days in Ramallah since 2023 and has pivoted to calling upon their community to support them in a worldwide version of the festival. Co-presented by Maine Palestine Film Collective, Maine Coalition for Palestine & Multitude Films.
