Join us during the November First Friday Art Walk for an exhibition opening and artist receptions for Dream Machine with Jen Mawson, Zhidong Zhang, and Harlan Crichton in the 534 gallery, and Fertile Ground and New Growth: Dreaming in the Plant Realm with Libby Paloma in the window gallery.
Visiting artist Libby Paloma will also be performing Busy Bees in the window gallery at, with scheduled performances at 5:00pm, 6:00pm, and 7:00pm.
In this pop-up performance, interdisciplinary artist Libby Paloma utilizes the absurdity of camp to answer the question “Who lives in this soft sculpture plant dream world?” This is a performance in which interspecies connection and imagined cross pollination is played out in unusual, comical, and unpredictable ways.
