Planned Parenthood Movie Night: Stigma + Dear Dr. Spencer

Join SPACE and Planned Parenthood Maine Action Fund for a double feature movie screening with the world premiere of the short film Stigma, as well as the documentary Dear Dr. Spencer (1998). Stigma features reproductive health care stories of Maine women and Dear Dr. Spencer tells the story of a doctor who provided pre-Roe v. Wade abortion and emergency reproductive care. Held the night before the 47th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, this movie night will spark important discussions about how far we’ve come in the fight for access to abortion, and the work we still need to do.

The films will be followed by a panel discussion with local women who are featured in Stigma.
