A special preview screening of “Rhythms Of The Heart” by Maine filmmaker
Thom Willey, to benefit David Moses Bridges.  The documentary film depicts Passamaquoddy canoe and basket craftsman David Moses Bridges and his journey to preserve family, life, and tradition while facing a life threatening illness. The film may also be viewed online at www.vimeo.com/ondemand/rhythmsoftheheart as part of a fundraiser for Mr. Bridges and his family.  Original music for the film composed and recorded by Southwest Harbor’s Chris Gray.  A lifetime resident of Southwest Harbor, Willey’s work has included the Motion Picture and Television industry since 1990.   Such films as “Dan In Real Life,” “Courage Under Fire,” and multiple Stephen King film adaptations contribute to his resume.  “Rhythms Of The Heart” was funded in part by a grant from the Maine Arts Commission, an independent state agency supported by the National Endowment for the Arts.

Admission is by suggested donation.  All proceeds will go to benefit David’s health care costs and recovery.  If you can’t attend but would like to donate, please visit the DMB Fund page.
