SPACE & ORBIS EDITIONS present superVISION: A Dance Party for Reproductive Justice, a benefit dance party with DJ Double Dessert, DJ Liz Rhaney, DJ Ben Spalding, with a special performance by Viva Ruiz from Thank God for Abortion.
All proceeds benefit Maine Family Planning, Mabel Wadsworth Center, and Planned Parenthood via SAFE Maine.
Dance party preceded by FREE book talk on May 19, 6-7 pm, with Sophie Hamacher and special guest Keeonna Harris, for launch of Supervision: On Motherhood and Surveillance, edited by Sophie Hamacher and Jessica Hankey, published by MIT Press and Orbis Editions (2023). Co-presented by SPACE, Portland Public Library and Orbis Editions.
