The Speakeasy

The Speakeasy is a brand-spanking new, adults only variety show serving up a night of decadent debauchery to delight your senses.

The Speakeasy features a rotating cast of dynamic guest performers, plus an in house burlesque troupe, The Sleekeasy Sisters. New Orleans’ own Moxie Sazerac, a nationally recognized burlesque performer turned Mainer, has joined forces with the ever energetic Kitty Caboose, and the soul deep smolders of Mama Sass, to curate a sexy, silly, surprising show. Moxie has performed in New Orleans, New York City, and beyond, holds an MFA from Rutgers University, and has written about her inclusive, body-positive, and freewheeling approach to burlesque for several outlets, including The NOLA Defender and the UK burlesque blog, Coochie Crunch.

Featuring fearless femme Nurse HotSnatch as mistress of ceremonies, this debut show will include the live vocal stylings of Cerella Gonzalez, plus music and shenanigans from Jed Cellar, comedy by Gwen Tuttle, and sideshow spectacle from the lovely Latie Kel.
