A multi-media extravaganza featuring people of all ability levels! Both nights of Variety Show will feature fabulous hosts, short films by directors of all abilities, and a variety of incredible live acts – all in the style of a 1960s television spectacular!
Due to its overwhelming popularity, Variety Show will run for TWO NIGHTS this year! Though both nights will feature the same films, same great hosts, and inimitable Listen Up! pit band, each night will offer different live components.
May 8th will feature a fantastical fashion show by participants of Bomb Diggity Arts and The Art Department. Special musical guests Greef and Esther & Monique join the show accompanied by community celebrities TBA. Buy tickets for May 8th
May 9th will feature a live interview and performance with Arabella LaDessé, “NH Based GoGo Queen living a full melanated life!”, a special guest appearance by Sea Dogs mascot extraordinaire, SLUGGER!! And a live musical performance by pop punk superheroes, Crunch Coat! Buy tickets for May 9th

Bomb Diggity Arts, a community-support program of Momentum serving adults of all abilities, promotes discovery of artistic expression, development of professional arts-based skills, exploration of personal interest and passion, development of a healthy lifestyle, and a meaningful and reciprocal community connection. Through all these endeavors, we challenge and transform attitudes about disability.
The Art Department is a nonprofit alternative art space from Portland, Maine, working with adults with developmental disabilities. TAD works with a range of mediums, from studio art, multimedia, animations, and print, to audio, film, and radio. An incredibly important resource in the Maine community, TAD encourages artists and gives them a place where they can make art and have their voices heard. The space includes a working studio, retail store and screening space, and provides equipment, supplies and education so artists can learn skills and make awesome projects.
Listen Up! Music is a Portland, ME-based nonprofit day program and music studio that supports adult musicians with intellectual uniqueness in making music. Established in 2012, Listen Up! provides opportunities for musicians to work on writing, arranging, recording, performing, and marketing their music to the local music community and beyond. Listen Up! works with musicians of all technical abilities and skills and seeks to promote a musical community based on creativity, excitement, joy, and inclusiveness.
