Portland youth arts and organizing collective Kesho Wazo gather at SPACE for the final day of their 3rd annual city-wide WazoFest. Performances by Wazo Daveed, Dr Raply, Black Barbie, Lindah, Drrpy, RNF, Cardiac, Yellow Tulip, Chrispo, Dre, FM, Charles Local King, Haga Sweetch Jammer, and Zay Jon.
Fashion show precedes performances.
About Wazo Fest
The mission at Wazo Fest is to create positive energy, educate our community on social justice issues, promote equality amongst all Mainers and provide young artists with the opportunity to share their talents and develop their confidence to be tomorrow’s leaders. Growing the youth culture in Portland is of extreme importance to Kesho Wazo because it keeps young leaders who will bring necessary change to Portland in the City and it provides a space for youth to be themselves.
