Flow + Time, phrasing.
Alexis Iammarino
Flow+Time, phrasing is a site-specific wall painting for SPACE from Iammarino’s Painter’s Digest series that combine and superimpose non-objective abstraction with movement vocabularies in composition and design. Created as visual compositions, the decorative forms are imagined in illogical relationships and placed in and out of pictorial space.
Alexis Iammarino is an interdisciplinary artist with a community-based practice.
With a focus on community-based murals, film, dance, and collaborative project design, she has led multiple large public art projects in the Midcoast and statewide. She co-directs and curates for Interloc in Rockland, Maine, and is director of the public history project, Hole History: Origins of the American-Style Donut.
