The DNC in Denver last week drew attention from a couple of artists you’re probably familiar with. Robert Indiana followed up his famous 1976 pop LOVE with an Obama-inspired sculpture HOPE done in the same iconic typestyle. And artist Shephard Fairey (who you can see in our screening of Beautiful Losers on Sept. 11) was arrested for “interference and posting unauthorized posters.” You can read more about it from Denver’s alt-weekly Westword.
