SPACE Gallery is seeking artists and educators to propose hands on creative workshops for kids in 2014. Anything from circuit bending to mask making to performance is encouraged. We are looking for workshops that offer low cost, alternative opportunities for youth arts engagement.
Workshops generally take place on a Saturday afternoon and can be geared toward any age group that is deemed appropriate- we have done workshops for ages 3-8 as well as 10-18 and anything in between. Please consider which age group would be most appropriate for what you are proposing. You will be paid a portion of the admittance fee for the workshop, which usually costs between $5-$15, depending on the nature of the workshop. If SPACE is interested in working with you, we will contact you to work out all of these details, which are flexible and will be determined based on each proposal.
