One of Maine’s hardest working bands (that’s right, they do private parties and weddings), The Toughcats never fail to entertain and amaze. My own first exposure to the band was last summer, when they played our free midday concert series and it’s been hard to forget their version of “Sheena Is A Punk Rocker” ever since. Thankfully they played that at this show!

Adam James Frederick and The Hippie Killers drew a large crowd, curious to see what they had in store for this show. Their set represented a wide range of music styles, not at all limited to Americana, folk, or anything event remotely classifiable. There was definitely some experimentation and perhaps even the influence of some more experimental modern music (Radiohead came to mind a few times as a possible inspiration during their set).
Finally, Jason Spooner (joined by Adam Frederick in his second turn on the stage for the night, this time on bass) played a tight set of crowd-pleasing rock songs. Photos of all three acts below!
