SPACE hosts its fair share of incredible rock bands, but it’s definite the out-of-the-ordinary events that often leave the biggest impressions on us. Last week Chicago’s Occidental Brothers Dance Band International brought their African/world music and took the room by storm along with local openers Grupo Esperenza. There were a lot of new faces in the room – at least I think so, it was hard to tell with everybody dancing so much. We went through A LOT of water that night.
