What do you get when you take a couple of guys who’ve worked for The Colbert Report, Late Show with David Letterman and The Onion and send them on tour with a much beloved collection of some seriously warped found videos? Why, The Found Footage Festival!

We’re all gushy about hosting Nick Prueher and Joe Pickett as they bring their traveling roadshow of video oddities (scavenged from yard sales, thrift stores and industrial dumpsters) to Maine for the first time on Friday, November 21st. Imagine a conceptual mash-up of a video adaptation of Found Magazine (no relation) with Mystery Science Theater 3000 and you get a rough idea of what to expect. Friday’s program will include such chestnuts as:

• 17 workplace sexual harassment videos, edited down to three minutes of just the best reenactments
• A brand-new collection of exercise videos featuring Playgirl’s 1985 Man of the Year, a scantily-clad Angela Lansbury, and a guru who calls himself “The Laughing Yogi.”
• Video contributions by Chris Elliott and David Cross
• An instructional video on how to toilet train cats

The FFF probably isn’t for the kiddies, we’d suggest an “R” rating if you were to ask us. Want a taste? Sure my friend, here you go : (Video Not Available)
