People Reading Comics: Live Comix Readings & C.A.M.P. Afterparty
7:00pm
*limited* free community tickets available
CAMP (Comic Arts Maine Portland) will return to the Portland Public Library on Saturday, April 11th — join us for an afterparty at SPACE for an evening of live comic readings, laughs and catharsis as we bid adieu to the CAMP 2026 season! Members of the general public who do not attend CAMP are encouraged to join.
Live readings (with projections!) of comics by Aidan Mitchell and Charlie Selders. They will be joined by more (TBA!) off-kilter and independent comic illustrators from both Maine and further afield invited by the Portland Public Library for CAMP 2026.
CAMP is an all-ages, one-day celebration of comic arts that is free and open to the public! This year, CAMP will feature over 90 cartoonists selling zines and comics as well as a suite of free workshops and panels hosted by passionate and experienced cartoonists!
