Nick (he/him) is a writer, journalist, editor, actor and director living in Portland. He is formerly the editor-in-chief of Portland Phoenix, Dispatch magazine, and DigPortland and an associate editor with Down East magazine, and was for several years a reporter and features writer for the Bangor Daily News.
Nick grew up in Southern Maine and moved back after living in New York, and is an ensemble member and former executive director of Mad Horse Theatre Company. He reads, bikes, forages for mushrooms, and plays baseball when he’s not spending time with his partner and young kids.
